Trophy Tresses Tips

Our goal is to help our lovely clients extend the life span of their Trophy Tresses. We recommend treating your Trophy Tresses as you would treat your own beautiful hair. With a little love and care your Trophy Tresses are sure to keep you looking slayed!

  • Avoid alcohol based products on your Trophy Tresses, as alcohol is very drying to the hair.

  • Before installation, we recommend that you co-wash your Trophy Tresses. When co-washing, only use conditioner to wash the hair. Then allow the hair to hang and fully air dry.

  • When washing your Trophy Tresses lukewarm water is recommended to prevent stripping the hair of essential oils.

  • Shampoo and condition your hair on a consistent basis. Every two weeks is ideal to prevent product build-up.

  • Gently brush your Trophy Tresses while holding it down with your other hand to prevent unnecessary tension and pulling.

  • Protect your hair by applying a protective product first such as a heat protectant before intense styling.

  • Use a satin or silk hair cover, bonnet, or pillow case to prevent breakage and optimize the life of your extensions.

  • Be sure to not saturate your Trophy Tresses with product as it could weigh down your hair and possibly cause hair to tangle.

  • If you plan on coloring your Trophy Tresses by using bleach; it is recommended that you do this process over the course of a few days.

  • For wavy and curly textures use a spray bottle and wide tooth comb to detangle and distribute product evenly.
